![]() ![]() When the File History window opens, all the files and folders you backed up before will show up. Choose Restore your files from File History. Search for File History with the search box. If you still do not get what you want after the recovery, you can restore files from backups on Windows 11 with File History. To prevent data overwriting, we advise choosing a separate volume or an external USB device to store the recovered files. Next, choose the desired files and press Recover. Once you've found the files you wish to restore, double-clicking on them will give you a detailed glimpse. ![]() After scanning, you can choose a certain file type, such as Photos, Word, movies, etc., using the Filter option. It will immediately begin a fast scan to look for any deleted files and, afterward, an automatic deep scan to look for further lost files. ![]() Launch the software on Windows 11, place the mouse pointer over the Recycle Bin option under the Locations section, and select Scan to selectively retrieve files from an empty Recycle Bin. ![]()
